Communities of color across the state have paid the highest price for our pollution-based economy. Big polluters are reaping the benefit of operating in our communities, poisoning our kids, our families, and our environment.
Join Senator Kevin de Leόn, Assemblymember Lorena Gonzalez, Assemblymember Toni Atkins and community leaders from across the state in making the voice of environmental justice roar in the Capitol!
Will you STAND FOR HEALTHY HOODS in Sacramento with us on August 28th at noon?
For more information on attending, contact Strela Cervas: scervas@ceja.org; (323) 826-9771 x 104
The Stand Together for Healthy Hoods rally is part of CEJA’s two-day Green Zones Community Congreso. We are bringing over 130 community leaders, advocates, organizers and allies together for two days of training on Green Zones and other critical state EJ issues, grassroots advocacy, and movement-building!
CEJA’s Green Zones Initiative is cultivating thriving communities in California and beyond. We believe that by improving conditions for those most impacted by pollution and poor planning, we can improve conditions for all of California. With overburdened communities leading the way, we can address decades of poor planning, disinvestment and pollution. Together, we can cultivate dozens of vibrant communities, advance visionary policies, and make Green Zones a model for strengthening local economies, environments, and democracies across California and the country.
