Financial Audits
In 2024, CEJA completed its first fiscal year as a stand-alone organization and completed its first independent financial audit. The audit determined that our systems show an accurate representation of our financial status - healthy! Because going through one audit isn’t enough chaos, CEJA elected to undergo a second audit for the period of July 1 2024 - December 31, 2024 to transition to a calendar year system on January 1, 2025.

Impact of Fundraising
CEJA is grateful for all of our funders from this past year! We couldn’t do this work without you. In 2024, CEJA started investing in an Individual Giving program to support diversifying our revenue streams as a way to increase our resilience to changing economic landscapes. Our funding from individual donors increased by 340% compared to 2023!
The figures below include the total amount raised in 2024, including the full awarded amount that may be paid over multiple years. The amounts below also include funding that was awarded to CEJA to regrant to our member organizations, which is approximately 30%.
