Donation Refund Policy
We are grateful for your donation and support of our organization. If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to our organization please contact us. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.
Automated Recurring Donation Cancellation
Ongoing support is important to enabling projects to continue their work, so we encourage donors to continue to contribute to projects over time. But if you must cancel your recurring donation, please notify us.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines how California Environmental Justice Alliance (“CEJA,” “we,” “us,” and “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our website and use our products and services (collectively, with our website, the “Services”). CEJA is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information.
This Policy applies to information that we collect through our website as well as through your use of Services generally, and through communications between you and us, including via our website, email, and text. It also applies to information that may be collected through surveys that you complete.

We implement technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction that are appropriate for an organization of our type and size.
While the security of personal information is important to CEJA, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. CEJA strives to use industry best practices to protect personal information, but cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of personal information at any time. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on our Services.
Browser Controls
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.
